Monday is wrap making day. I had been looking forward to making an extra big wrap for storing greens. I made two large single wraps measuring 43cm x 54cm. They turned out really well and Linda and I will trial them before adding them to our product list for sale. As you will see from the image, the large wrap easily wraps a big bunch of spinach. I placed the spinach on the wrap with the stalks pointing to a corner, folded the corner up and over the bottom of the stalks, then wrapped the sides over and around, securing with a rubber band. I also folded the top down and used another band, not necessary perhaps but holds it altogether. I think washing the greens first and leaving a little water on them helps to keep them crisp. Keep an eye on the web site over the next couple of weeks for large single wraps to purchase.
